Hey, guys, it's been awhile since I've been on here. To be honest, there's been a lot going on lately. In my own life, I confess that I've been struggling with spending the time that God would want me to spend with Him. I've been doing so much for Him, that I forgot about Him. I'm pretty sure that you guys know what I'm talking about. Those moments that you are just tired but you think "this is what God wants from me" or " this is for your glory, Lord." God is so GOOD! We had such a great response to all the areas needed to help with our Thanksgiving Dinner. Thanks to all of you. The outpouring of your service to the Lord was so great. Mrs. Harriet Newton taking care of the food and raising money and the list goes on. Thank you for your love of these students and giving them a meal that they enjoyed so much. The volunteers who serve with Acts 2 all year you made phone calls, picked up students and were table hosts we couldn't do it without you.  read more »

Man I tell ya, last night was another amazing night here at Acts 2. Last night was bible study. During Bible study, we have dinner with the kids and then we have small groups. well, I must give praise to God for all the blessings that he gives. The kids came, we had dinner, and during small groups were very attentive. The holy spirit had moved in a way that was very fulfilling. I personally felt that a task had truly been accomplished. I know that thanksgiving is already over( good food though lol), but I must say that I am thankful for his hands being over that whole ordeal.  read more »

Greetings to all! I have wanted to blog lately about being thankful...funny enough it's the Thanksgiving season. So, naturally I'm not trying to be cheesy, but thankfulness and gratefulness to the Lord has been a HUGE theme in my life over the last several months.
