"To sum up, all of you be harmonious, sympathetic, brotherly, kindhearted, and humble in spirit; not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing." 1 Peter 3 8
This verse spoke volumes to me as I began memorizing chapter 3 of 1 Peter. Along with this I have been reading "The Power of a Spoken Blessing" by Bill Gothard. Sharing how a spoken blessing can effect and change a life for ever. read more »

Scaremare was a fun night for all. We took 15 High School students on Saturday Oct.11 to Liberty University for there annual Scaremare. We adventured with the youth group from Cave Spring Baptist Church and had a blast. What a great time we all had with our Welcome Back dance party. There were over 125 students excited and ready to come back to Acts 2. Big thanks to all our volunteers that helped so much with driving and picking up students to serving drinks and snacks to getting information from new comers. The next couple of days at the schools all the students were talking about how much they enjoyed the time together at Acts 2. read more »

G.R.A.S.P got started at the end of January and continued through the last week of May. There were a total of about 11-14 kids involved throughout the semester and 3 volunteers that made it all possible. This semester was a great success! read more »

“I might not know my biological father, but I know THE FATHER, and He will never leave me!!!” Those were some of the words of Harvey as he gave his testimony in front of some 500 people. He shared about the things he used to do and then about how Christ has totally changed his life. He encouraged the kids to love the Lord their God with all their heart, with all their strength, with all their mind and with all their soul. And to love their neighbor as themselves. He did a great job. I wish all you guys could see him. Thanks for your prayers. read more »
