Can I just say hello to the blog world? Hello! It's been a while since I've visited you. Anyway...all I can say is that the Lord has been oh so faithful to me. The ways are too many to count but I will share a few. First and foremost G.R.A.S.P. is growing. We aren't growing in numbers but in substance. The students are being challenged to grow in their mentalities regarding their futures. In addition to that they are being challenged in their relationships with God. Just when I think they aren't listening and that nothing shared is having any sort of influence one student makes a commitment to get straight A's for a consecutive semester. It's like slowly but surely little light bulbs are coming on one at a time. But outside of the after school program God has been opening so many doors that will be platforms for the gospel. Ever heard of turn tables? Well the Lord provided about $2,000 for professional DJing equipment that we will use for our programs here at the ministry and also around the surrounding areas of Roanoke with other youth outreach venues. I am so excited because this equipment will just be a platform for the gospel to reach as many ears as possible. And secondly the Lord has afforded me the awesome opportunity to go on a missions trip with Keynote's summer music program this summer. I will attend for 7 weeks and tour the country for 3 of them putting on free concerts that are full of life changing music, the gospel, testimonies and so much more.
