Happy New Year to everyone...expect God to show you new things about His awesomeness (if that is a word) this year! I always want everyone to know that God is so faithful. It has been one year since Acts 2 implemented the G.R.A.S.P. high school after school program and all glory goes to God. God gave me vision for this ministry and has been faithfully growing and cultivating the students for His glory. I love the fact that God allows me to be apart of what He is doing in this city and allows me to see His spirit bringing forth fruit in the lives of these students. Last semester there were 12 students contracted into the after school program. That is a huge jump in participation from the spring of 2008. Some students graduated and didn't attend in the Fall but the others that participated in the spring continued all the way through. We had a chunk of freshmen that got involved and really blossomed. I am happy to say that all the students are planning to participate for the Spring semester of 2009 and there will be new students attending as well. Please be in prayer for this new semester, that these students would allow Jesus Christ to be the center of their lives. Because I strongly believe that if Jesus is the CENTER that He will permeate every aspect including their academics and character. Until next time...be surrendered!
